Argyll School will be taking part in the North Okanagan Optimist Clubs, UNPLUG and PLAY week. Watch for us in the Morning Star, we are offering a free introductory class for children to enjoy. The 'Argll Sampler' will be a mix of Highland Dance, Jazz, Tap, Ballet and also Zumba for kids!
Bring friends and family Wednesday, May 1/2013 @ 4:30pm. The whole idea is to encourage kids to excersize the FUN way. With all the electronics being played, kids loose touch with their bodies and emotions. Dance and fitness brings confidence and awareness to children even at a young age. Argyll's classes are for both girls and boys, including the Zumbatomics, Jazz and Tap dance. As parents it is very important to encourage dance, music and movement in early childhood.
So mark down May 1/2013 4:30pm in your calender! It's free, fun and also gives everybody the opportunity to sample all of the classes!

Laura
Helsel-Biography
Laura Helsel is the creator
and director of the Pilates Process Method.
Originally from White Rock, B.C., she travelled extensively throughout
Canada and the USA as a professional ballet and modern dance, eventually
settling in Toronto where she taught dance classes. In 2001, Laura opened her own Pilates studio,
working with respected physiotherapists and trained in biomechanics. After years of training clients with chronic
pain, Laura developed a more clinically based therapeutic approach, and that is
when Pilates Process was developed.
