What's new at Argyll School of Performing Arts and Motion?

Come and see our new studio at #17-100 Kalamalka Lake Road! We have two spacious studios, a music room, and most recently a full time Registered Massage therapist!
NEW EXCITING CLASSES AT ARGYLL SCHOOL:
Adult Ballet Fit (Minimum group of four)
Zumba for adults
Zumbatomic for kids
Beginner Pilates
Beginner Recreational Tai Chi

ZUMBA FOR ADULTS-  Combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries.  It is based on the principle that a workout should be "Fun and easy to do" in order for Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benifits.  Zumba is not only great for the body\, but it is also great for the mind.  It is a 'feel happy workout."
ZUMBATOMIC FOR KIDS-Zumbatomic is a rockin', high-energy fitness class packed with fun.  Specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines, games all the music kids love to groove to in a group, like hip-hop,reggaeton, cumbia and more!Argyll School offers 10X punch passes for all Zumba classes, or try it out with a drop-in.

Beginner Pilates- We offer Pilates that has a therapeutic approach, by working on joint rotations in areas that are commonly stiff. While also incorporating strength and and resistance training.  The instructor makes modification suggestions for those with injuries or tight areas.  This class can be joined at any time, feel free to drop-in.

Beginner Recreational Tai Chi- Tai Chi is commonly viewed as a soft style martial art and a low impact exercise. Over a period of almost two millennia, various approaches to Taoism have developed and perfected these health exercises as part of their religious practice. Spiritual enhancement through physical exercise may seem surprising, but in China the spiritual and physical realms are traditionally seen as being intrinsically linked. Tai Chi is the original mind and body exercise.

Adult Ballet Fit- Beginner ballet for adults, a good cardio workout, as well as balance and posture improvement. This class focuses on flexibility and grace.  This class is great for adults that danced as children or someone who has never taken a Ballet class.

We are pleased to welcome Gail. Thomas , a RMT who will be working out of the studio as of March 1/13.  A good dance session followed by a massage is my idea of a perfect day!
